License Agreement & Terms of Service
By purchasing from the Cyberwave Orchestra's webshop, you agree to the following license terms. Each purchase grants a license to use the sounds in your own projects, or in projects for your clients (as specified at checkout), but not ownership of the audio files themselves. The rules below apply to all products in this webshop, with a special note for the Everything Bundle.
✅ What You Can Do
Use in unlimited projects
When making a purchase, you will have the option to choose whether the audio will be used for your own projects (individual or company/studio) or for a project you are creating for a client.
- If for your own projects, you may use the purchased audio in unlimited self-published projects.
- If for a client, you may use the purchased audio in unlimited projects for that one client.
- Each different client requires a separate purchase.
Commercial and non-commercial allowed
- You may use the sounds in projects that are free, paid, or monetized.
- Example: Add them to a free itch.io prototype, a commercial Steam release, or a mobile game on the App Store.
Edit and combine sounds
- You can modify, mix, and layer sounds to create new variations.
- Example: Combine a sword whoosh with a blade impact, mix a monster roar with a magic spell, or layer footsteps with an armor clank for extra realism.
❌ What You Cannot Do
No resale or redistribution
- You cannot resell, share, or distribute the sounds as standalone files or in another sound library.
Example: You cannot upload them to a free SFX site or package them as your own sound pack.
No license pass-through
The license is always held by the person or studio who makes the purchase. It cannot be transferred or shared.
- If the purchase is for your own use, you may use the sounds in unlimited self-published projects.
- If the purchase is for client work, you may use the sounds in unlimited projects for that one client. Each additional client requires a separate license.
- Clients only own the finished end product you deliver. They do not gain license rights to the sounds and cannot share them with other developers or studios.
Example: Your studio buys a license to make your own RPG — you’re covered. If you buy a license to develop a game for a client, you may reuse the same sounds in other projects you make for that client. But the client cannot take the sounds and give them to another developer to use in a different project.
No AI or machine learning training
- You may not use the sounds to train, fine-tune, or improve any machine learning or AI models.
- You may not include the sounds in datasets or embeddings, and you may not allow others to extract the sounds for AI training.
🟡 Special Note on the Everything Bundle
The Everything Bundle works differently than individual packs:
- Lifetime free updates mean the lifetime of the bundle itself, not the buyer’s lifetime. As long as the bundle is available in our store, it will be updated with new releases.
- Updates may be from any genre, size, or theme, and may arrive at different intervals depending on workflow and inspiration.
- All new packs added to the bundle are included at no extra cost for buyers of the bundle.
Example: If you buy the bundle today and a new sci-fi ambience pack is released next month, it will automatically be added to your bundle for free.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital audio, refunds are generally not possible once files are downloaded. If there is a technical issue, contact support and we will help.
